REWARDS FOR EFFORTS AND ACHIEVEMENT
We all do best when someone takes time
to praise and encourage us. Certainly pupils work harder and learn
more when their teachers (and parents) encourage them I with
positive rewards for their efforts. Our formal system of rewards is
just one way of encouraging all our students to do their best.
Positive rewards, whether verbal or in other forms, provide benefits
for all those involved.
