REPORTS AND PARENTS
MEETING |
During the year each pupil will
receive a full report and each parent will be invited to a Parents
Meeting where the child will be discussed. However we will be pleased to discuss
individual pupil's progress with parents at any time.
|
BEHAVIOR |
A high standard of courtesy and
behavior is expected from pupils. We aim to create a happy and
purposeful environment and this can only be achieved when attitudes
and relationships are positive and based on mutual respect.
As with all other matters at the
school, we aim to work closely in partnership with parents on all
matters relating to good discipline at the school. As part of this
we hope that all pupils and parents will wish to adopt our code of
conduct.
|
HOME WORK |
You will be expected to do homework we
believe that homework is a valuable part of secondary education. It
allows you to practice skills learned in the classroom, to develop
your research skills, and helps you to form the habits of individual
study necessary to achieve success in the later stages of your
education indeed for the rest of your life. |
REWARDS FOR
EFFORTS AND ACHIEVEMENT |
We all do best when someone takes time to praise and encourage us.
Certainly pupils work harder and learn more when their teachers (and
parents) encourage them I with positive rewards for their efforts.
Our formal system of rewards is just one way of encouraging all our
students to do their best. Positive rewards, whether verbal or in
other forms, provide benefits for all those involved:
